On October 20, 2021, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) recently released a white paper evaluating “lessons learned” over their first 10 years and a “strategy refresh” for their work moving forward. Although CMMI has historically focused on Medicare-related models, the new strategic plan places an increased emphasis on Medicaid and multi-payor models.
