Lindsey Browning
Deputy Executive Director of Programs
Lindsey Browning is the Deputy Executive Director of Programs at the National Association of Medicaid Directors. In this role, she leads the association’s programs that support Medicaid Directors and over 400 members of their senior teams in administering the Medicaid program. Lindsey brings to this role more than a decade of experience supporting Medicaid leaders in all 50 states, D.C., and the territories in sharing best practices and collective problem-solving.
Before joining NAMD, Lindsey worked at the Children’s Hospital Association where she conducted research and analysis on state policy trends in Medicaid and CHIP. She also supported the association’s work to analyze and respond to regulations implementing the Affordable Care Act.
Lindsey received her Master of Public Policy from George Mason University and graduated from McDaniel College with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and international studies. She is also an avid outdoorswoman, mom, and dog-lover.
