NAMD Requests Congress Align Substance Use Disorder Privacy Rules

In April 2018, NAMD sent a letter to Congressional leaders requesting alignment between substance use disorder privacy rules and rules governing other protected health information. Such alignment would promote behavioral health integration and support more effective case management and care coordination.
