NAMD Joins Medicaid Provider and Plan Groups to Request Support for Critical Medicaid Providers
On May 8, 2021, NAMD joined a coalition of leading health plan and provider organizations to request that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services prioritize Medicaid providers in its future provider relief funding awards.

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to financial strain for providers, with an especially large impact on providers that serve a high number of Medicaid members and operate on slim financial margins. NAMD joined Medicaid health plan and provider organizations in requesting that the federal government act quickly to distribute critical financial resources to Medicaid providers.
