Bo Offord was appointed as Commissioner of the Alabama Medicaid Agency on July 16, 2025 by Governor Kay Ivey.
With nearly two decades of service at the Agency since 2010, Offord has ascended through roles including assistant general counsel, deputy general counsel and most recently, general counsel. In these capacities, he has represented the Agency across probate, circuit and appellate courts.
Offord began his legal career in 2007 after earning his law degree from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, complementing an undergraduate education at The University of Alabama.
