Steve Ford

Steve Ford has served in senior roles within DMAS, including Deputy Director and Division Director. During his tenure, he has led work across Medicaid policy development, reimbursement and financing strategy, eligibility and appeals, budget planning, and federal compliance. He has worked closely with the General Assembly, CMS, providers, and advocacy partners.

Previously, Ford served in roles at VHCA-VCAL, Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association and the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission. He holds a master’s in public policy and a bachelor’s in government, both from the College of William & Mary.
