Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) Secretary Janet Mann has worked in the public and private sector for multiple states and clients. She has also served as Arkansas’ state Medicaid Director, the Director for the DHS Division of Medical Services, and the agency’s Chief Financial Officer. In addition, Janet was a Deputy Administrator for Medicaid in Mississippi during Governor Haley Barbour’s administration. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has been married to Doug for over 32 years and has 2 grown children, Sydney and Will.
