Emily Ricci joins the Department of Health after spending more than a decade working on heath care issues in Alaska. A life-long resident of the state, her background is in health care payment and insurance in Alaska. In her most recent role as Chief Health Administrator for the State of Alaska employee and retiree health insurance plans, Ms. Ricci

Emily Ricci is the Deputy Commissioner at the Department of Health with oversight of the Medicaid program. Prior to joining the department, she administered the state’s employee and retiree health plans. Emily has a diverse policy background and has been involved in health care payment and policy issues for over a decade. She has an MPH from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
