Christine Osterlund

Christine Osterlund, the deputy secretary for agency integration and state Medicaid director for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), has over 20 years of Medicaid and CHIP policy and operational knowledge across several states, including Kansas, Ohio, Virginia, Alabama and Maryland. She joined the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) in October 2022. Prior to KDHE, Christine spent five years at Maximus, Inc., and before that worked with Florida Medicaid for nine years. Christine is a certified Project Management Professional and has a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications with a minor in business from Buena Vista University.
