Drew Wilson

Andrew (Drew) Wilson serves as Delaware’s Director of the Division of Medicaid and Medical Assistance (DMMA). Drew returned to Delaware after nearly four years at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) where he specialized in Medicaid managed care policy and regulation in the Centers’ Managed Care Group.

Before his federal service, Drew worked on a diverse range of issues to better the health of Delawareans. Most recently through his position as a practicing health care attorney working closely with healthcare practices and providers around the state. Among his clients was his former employer, the Medical Society of Delaware. With the Medical Society, he developed policy on behalf of the state’s physicians.

He holds a law degree from Albany Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Lawrence University. He and his wife have two daughters, six and two, and he loves to spend time outdoors with them.
