Amanda Dreyer was appointed as Wisconsin’s Medicaid Director in February of 2026. Amanda has 20 years of experience in health care leadership, technology, and operations. She joined the Medicaid team as the deputy director in January 2024, after working in other executive leadership roles at DHS. Prior to joining DHS, Amanda led initiatives that improved patient health, staff experience, and revenue cycle. She supported safety net clinics and large health systems across Wisconsin and the nation through her work at Epic and the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association. Amanda has a deep commitment to the people of Wisconsin and assuring everyone receives the care they need.
