In May 2015, NAMD issued a white paper on opportunities to better align and modernize the interactions between Medicaid and the 340B drug discount program. Steps such as providing 340B ceiling price information to Medicaid agencies and limiting the frequency at which 340B covered entities may change their Medicaid carve-in status are recommended.
