National Committee for Sustainable Medicaid and Public Health Partnerships

Author

The National Association of Medicaid Directors (NAMD), in collaboration with the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), has launched the National Committee for Sustainable Medicaid and Public Health Partnerships. This new initiative unites state-level leaders in Medicaid and public health to routinize their collaboration into agency operations. The Advisory Committee will play a key role in helping NAMD and ASTHO integrate cross-agency collaboration into Medicaid and public health operations across the country.

Supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) NOSLO program, the committee will:

  • Lead a national effort to create enduring Medicaid-public health partnerships that can withstand changing administrations.
