The Interagency Coordinating Committee on Healthy Aging and Age-Friendly Communities – which is chaired by the Administration for Community Living (ACL) – recently issued a report, Aging in the United States: A Strategic Framework for a National Plan on Aging.
On September 13, 2024, NAMD formally commented on the Strategic Framework. In our comments, NAMD calls on the federal government to develop a comprehensive, multi-payer system of care to meet the needs of older adults.
