Jill Mazza Olson

Jill Mazza Olson serves as the State Medicaid and Health Systems Director at the Vermont Agency of Human Services (AHS), a senior leadership role within the Secretary’s office. She joined the agency in October 2025.

Jill is responsible for the strategic vision of Vermont’s Medicaid program and broader health care system reforms. This position ensures the integration of Medicaid priorities with the Agency’s broader health care reform goals, across all departments.

Jill brings to the role decades of experience as a trade association executive working on behalf of hospitals and most recently for home health and hospice agencies. She has policy expertise across the health care, long-term care, and home and community-based services systems, along with professional and board-level experience in the insurance industry.

She holds a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University.
