Honing your Approach to MCO Procurement & Oversight

Sunday, November 10 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm

Registration: Open to state Medicaid agency staff only; requires $200 registration fee

A majority of states use a capitated managed care model to deliver at least some of their Medicaid benefits, with approximately 72 percent of Medicaid members enrolled in comprehensive managed care as of 2021. Leading an MCO procurement and effective oversight of contracted health plans are two of the most impactful levers – but also some of the most complex – that Medicaid leaders can use to impact the health outcomes of members. Join for a skills-driven, problem-solving session ideal for agency Directors and senior deputies.

Facilitator:

Beth Waldman, JD, MPH

Senior Managing Director, Bailit Health Purchasing, LLC

Moving forward, we will be hosting the NAMD Fall Conference at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center

2026 – Oct. 21-23
