NAMD/SHVS Hold Workshop to Support State Behavioral Health Integration

In December 2014, the National Association of Medicaid Directors (NAMD) conducted a workshop to support states in their efforts to improve the delivery of care in Medicaid for those with behavioral health conditions by facilitating a more rational, accessible and cost-effective delivery system. The workshop was made possible through the support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s State Health and Value Strategies program (SHVS). This resource summarizes the workshop and highlights key issues raised during the meeting.
