The Medicaid Chief Medical Officer (CMO) reports directly to the Deputy Secretary for Health Care Financing (Maryland State Medical Director) within the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. The incumbent will allocate 100 percent of his/her time to Medicaid-related issues. The Medicaid CMO has the capacity to collaborate with and oversee clinical activities within Medicaid.

The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) is seeking to hire a qualified individual to serve as the Assistant Deputy Secretary of Medicaid Finance.  The successful applicant will work in Tallahassee and supervise a financial and analytics team of roughly 70 people.
